Nach update des BR200 von 6.2 auf 6.4 können Lan-gebundene Devices nicht mehr ins Internet/Netz.

Hintergrund:

die ETH0-Schnittstelle muss nach dem update manuell gestartet werden.

Bitte testen Sie ob sich das Interface, wie untenstehend beschrieben nach dem update, am BR200 wieder in Betrieb nehmen lässt.

Der Hersteller empfiehlt jedoch für dieses Gerät bei der Version 6.2 zu bleiben.

Unfortunately, we do have an issue with the WAN interface on BRs running 6.4 that require the Eth0 port to be restarted manually after a configuration upload or reboot.
You can run 'int eth0 shut' and then 'no int eth0 shut' to restart that interface

Due to several severe issues that our support team has encountered with the recently released Barracuda NG Firewall version 5.2.5, we have decided to remove all 5.2.5 packages from the download area. As of now please refrain from upgrading your firewalls or control centers to version 5.2.5. If you have already done so, we recommend a downgrade to the previously installed version.

Bitte löschen Sie die vorhandenen CWP-Files aus den APs und führen ein update der Konfiguration durch.

oder die GUI > " Update > Advanced > Remove Captive Web Portal Settings" können Sie die evtl. korrupten Files auf dem AP löschen.

Der Entitlement-Key zeigt keine Devices (permanent renew).

In der HiveManager-Übersicht "Home > Administration > License Management > Entitlement Key Information" werden bei den "permanent renew" Entitlement-Keys keine Devices gelistet.

Dies ist korrekt, die Devices sind über den Orginal-Key lizensiert.

Microsoft Lizenzen geben.
Einer unserer Kunden (Teil der deutschen Regierung) hat Microsoft um
eine solche Stellungnahme (in unserem Interesse) gebeten.

Wir baten um Klärung, da auf der einen Seite der Remote-Zugriff erlaubt
ist, wenn auf beiden Seiten Lizenzen für das installierte Microsoft
Betriebssystem vorliegen, auf der anderen Seite aber wieder nicht
erlaubt wird. Aus unserer Sicht (und der unserer Kunden) ist dies nicht
klar definiert und widerspricht sich (gilt nur für Windows 7).
Leider warten wir noch immer auf eine derartige Stellungnahme und ich
kann Ihnen die Frage nicht beantworten, wann und ob wir überhaupt eine
solche bekommen. Es scheint hier einen "Grau-Bereich" zu geben ....
